E.L.F Studio cream eyeliners review

Never used a cream eyeliner prior to using E.L.F's cream liners so wasn't sure what to expect, all I know is that I personally find it easier to apply than liquid or pencil eyeliner( I still use both once in a while!).
There's not much left of the black one as I've been using it a lot and had it the longest than the other two.

Black cream eyeliner after 4 hours

Black, Purple and Coffee

Why I bought this?
I want to try a cream eyeliner and at £3.50 each I thought it's definitely worth a try. Initially bought the black one a few months ago and then the two other shades.

Texture and Packaging
Comes in a small square pot which is quite lightweight so handy to put in your make up kit if needed and it also comes along with a small eyeliner brush which I've been using. This brush is basically a mini version of their studio small angled brush which I also own. The brush is ok but tends to get quite stiff and absorbs too much of the liner which gets stuck which means I have to wipe it on a tissue quite often to get the right amount. It's creamy and is easy to apply (once I get to steady my hand as I get shaky when applying liner boo!).

Overall
I love this product, it's affordable and versatile. Been using it for work and it's still on after 8 hours - might not be as good as when I applied it in the morning but it's still got long lasting coverage.

Creme Cup and Patissiere MAC lipsticks

I only own two MAC lipsticks and I absolutely love them!
Creme Cup - Cremesheen finish (light blue pink)
Patissiere    - Lustre finish          (Sheer creamy neutral pink)

Creme Cup, excuse my chapped lips :-)

Patissiere on natural light.
 Why I bought this?

I LOOVE lipsticks so much and PINK is probably my favourite(all shades of pink that is) so I thought I would try the MAC lipsticks as it's one of their most popular products.

Smell and Texture
Love the smell of these lipsticks it's got a slight sweet scent to it. Both are very creamy and goes on really well. Personally I find that Patissiere doesn't feel as heavy on the lips as Creme Sheen does since I only own two MAC lipsticks I am not sure if this has got to do with the difference in finish.

Overall
I find that I use Patissiere more for everyday daytime looks(work etc) but I also adore Creme Sheen and would recommend it to anyone after a nice pink creamy lipstick. I wouldn't say the staying power is superb but I only have to retouch the lipstick after 3-4 hours which isn't too bad for me. So far I am loving these two lipsticks and will definitely try other shades from MAC in the future.

L'oreal Studio Secrets Professional smoothing resurfacing primer

Why I bought this?
We use face primers for various reasons and for me it is to make my foundation last longer, reduce the oilyness on my t-zone and redness on my cheeks and finally to have a good base for my foundation. Prior to trying this primer, I've been using the E.L.F mineral face primer(which I love) but I am always open to trying new products and couldn't resist to try this after reading a lot of good reviews.

Smell, Texture and Packaging
It might just be me but I couldn't really pin point what kind of smell it has but I know that it is very very faint if anything it's close to having no scent at all. When you first try the product it almost feels like a creamier version of hair mask but goes on smoothly on your skin. Comes in a 15 ML transparent round pot which is no bother to me but I would personally prefer a pump bottle. Bought it for £14.29 from Boots which I find to be quite dear for a drugstore primer.

Overall
Setting aside the packaging, colour etc this product goes on smoothly and doesn't feel cakey at all. I put it on after my face moisturizer and before my liquid foundation and leave it on my face for about 3 minutes before putting on my liquid foundation. I don't find that it reduces the redness on my cheeks though it doesn't really mention that it does that anyway(as per the product description on the boots website: The L'OrĂ©al Paris Studio Secrets Smoothing Resurfacing Primer has a beautifully smooth texture and is effective at disguising wrinkles and pores. It gives a matte look and a silky finish. Yes it does give a nice silky finish which I like and goes in smoothly however the only but BIG downside is I do not find that it disguises my pores as it says it does. As much as I love this product I find that it clogs my pores so when you apply the foundation, the foundation goes inside the pores making it more visible(which I never had while using my old primer). I will continue to use this pot as it does make my foundation last longer and have helped to reduce the oilyness on my t-zone however I will not be re-purchasing this. I really wanted this product to work and might not have worked for me overall but might do for you(especially if you are just after a primer for all the reasons mentioned above except minimizing pores).
